You could also try the patched ROM on a PC emulator to verify if it's your file or the Miyoo that's at fault. In case you're still having trouble, I'd suggest using Luna IPS 1.02 to apply the patch (after checking the file hash) and running it on latest Onion since that's my setup which is working for this specific patch. Once it's installed you can right-click the ROM file in Windows explorer and use the 7-Zip menu to see and copy the hash. I use 7-Zip to find the CRC32 of my files. You’ll then need to change the file extension from. You’ll need a Rom which matches the MD5 checksum listed in the GitHub. If it doesn't match, it's likely that the patch will make the ROM unusable. An unmodified Super Mario Land 2 ROM is required as this patch applies DX to it and converts it to pocket. So if your ROM file has the same 'ID' as what the patch lists, you have the correct file and can go ahead with the patch. If you haven't come across hashes before, they're a way to verify that two files have exactly the same content by generating an 'ID' of sorts. The key is to check the rom information section of the page and match one of the hashes, such as the CRC32 against your file. I've patched this ROM (and several others) and they work fine on the mini.
